Coming this fall…

Additional park furnishings, a generous donation from a local community group, and additional cemetery restoration work.

There are already a few new metal picnic tables under the HTPark at Brummitt Road pavilion.
Be on the lookout for some heavier duty seating pieces at HTPark at Elm Road, also under the pavilion.

Headstone repair and cleaning is once again planned at both Salem and Harris Prairie cemeteries. The last such effort was in the first year of Harris Township Trustee Ken Lindsay’s term. See the township’s website for a list of initiatives over the past eight years.

The specifics of the donation will be revealed when what it funded is delivered and installed, but THANK YOU in advance.
