In unincorporated Granger, Clay Fire Territory (CFT) first responders show up in ambulances and fire trucks in response to COVID-19 calls.    You can show your thanks by buying them a meal.
In Harris Township, CFT’s fire stations are at State Road 23 and Elm Road, and at Bittersweet and Anderson Roads.

Fire stations are currently limiting access and deliveries to protect the public and first responders, so the best way to do that is by sending a check or gift card.

Your donation will allow them to pick up a meal at their convenience while working, or order for delivery while in quarantine, which is sometimes necessary. While money donations provide the most flexibility, gift cards to places like Martin's Supermarkets, Wings Etc., or a pizza restaurant would be put to good use.

The typical ambulance is staffed by two people, and the typical fire engine by three people.  There are two ambulances and five fire engines, plus a number of support personnel working to keep you safe.

CFT serves Harris Township and Clay Township, comprising the majority of Granger.  CFT also serves German Township, Roseland and Indian Village. They operate from five fire stations including at State Road 23 and Elm Road, and at Bittersweet and Anderson Roads.
