Two weeks into a three month construction calendar, lots of earth is being moved at Harris Township’s Elm Road Ped(estrian) Park, or EPP.
The hard working employees of Mishawaka’s Northern Indiana Construction have been busy laying the groundwork for upcoming improvements that will include a cement walk, playground, sports courts and a ball diamond. Parking and proper drainage are also part of the effort.
If all goes well, construction will be complete in October. Until then, the park is closed.
